Case type: Application planning example.
Manufacturer: Xingtai Haihui Machine-outil Co., Ltée. (Machines Haihui), Xingtai, Hebei, Chine.
A precast workshop may make reinforcement for several products during the same shift. Precast stirrup production therefore requires a clear process for drawing changes, first-piece checks and finished-part identification.

Build a product-based drawing list
Link each stirrup drawing to its precast product and revision. Record material specifications and quantities. This helps the factory understand the planned workload and distinguishes repeated production from occasional special components.
Evaluate changeover work
Ask how programs are entered, stored and selected on the proposed machine. Confirm whether a change in diameter or shape needs tooling adjustment. Include setup and material changes when comparing production arrangements, especially when short batches are common.
Check the first pieces after a change
Inspect the finished samples before releasing the rest of a batch. Check leg lengths and hook details against the approved drawing. Keep records that connect the measured samples to the program, material and production date.
Connect bending to reinforcement assembly
Allocate collection and storage space by product family. Consider how the reinforcement assembly team receives each batch. A machine proposal should fit the workshop’s material flow and order mix, not simply offer a high headline production figure.
Application question
What is the key consideration for short precast batches?
Review changeover time, program management, first-piece inspection and material handling together. Ask the manufacturer to demonstrate a representative sequence of different shapes.
