Short batches change the selection priorities
A stirrup bending workshop running many small orders may spend substantial time changing materials, setting jobs and identifying finished pieces. The relevant factory discussion is therefore broader than peak bending speed. Tell Haihui how many drawings and diameters you expect to run during a typical shift and which changes occur most often.
Group jobs without losing traceability
Where production requirements permit, plan batches to reduce unnecessary material and tooling changes. Keep each shape tied to an identifiable drawing revision and order reference. Do not combine quantities in a way that makes similar stirrups difficult to distinguish. A simple collection and labeling plan can reduce confusion between pieces with close dimensions.
Allow time for the first-piece check
After a change, follow the machine instructions for setup and verify samples against the approved drawing before releasing the batch. Confirm how the controller stores and recalls job information on the quoted model. Saved data should still be checked against the current drawing and actual tooling; a familiar job name alone is not proof of the correct setup.
Ask the factory about the whole sequence
During a demonstration, request an explanation of the steps between the last acceptable piece of one job and the first acceptable piece of the next. Include material handling and inspection in that discussion. View the HH4-12C information and other Haihui machines, then share a realistic batch schedule to support the selection process.
